Accessibility

Checked at a phone's width before every release.

Written for the reader on site, on a phone, in bad light, and for every reader who uses a keyboard or a screen reader.

What every page is checked against

Before a page goes out we read it at a phone's width and at a desktop's against the WCAG 2.2 AA rules for contrast, keyboard use and labelling: body text at 4.5 to 1 contrast or better, a visible focus ring on every control, a label on every field, and landmarks a screen reader can jump between. The free tools on each trade page work from the keyboard alone, and a screen reader announces each answer as it changes.

Two things outside our pages

The date fields open your browser's own date picker, so how they read aloud depends on the browser you use. Each rule links to the page it came from, and those pages belong to the agencies and publishers that wrote them.

If something stops you

Write to support@tradesbinder.com with the page and what happened, and a person will answer and fix it.
