What this website collects
This website does not ask for any personal information, and the free tools run in your browser and send nothing to us.
Advertising tags and cookies
Unless you say yes in the cookie box, this website sets no cookies and loads no advertising or analytics tags. The box appears only while one of these is switched on: Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit, which tell us which of our ads brought you here, and Google Analytics, which counts visits. Each one sets its own cookies once you say yes, under its own privacy terms. Global Privacy Control counts as a no, and the Cookie choices link at the foot of every page changes your answer.
If a link from one of our ads brought you here, your browser keeps that ad's campaign code for 30 days, and it travels with you when you start an account, so we know which ad worked. The code names the ad, not you.
What the app collects
- Your email address, to send sign-in links and the notices about your account.
- Your company name and the people you invite.
- The records you and your team enter, including any client names and addresses you type in.
- One sign-in cookie, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
- The same cookie box as this website, on the same terms, if an advertising tag is switched on there.
- Billing details, which the payment processor holds; we never see your card number.
How it is used
We use this information to run the service you signed up for: to keep your records, produce your reports, send your sign-in links and bill your plan. We do not sell personal information and do not use your records to advertise to you or anyone else.
Who processes it for us
Service providers under contract carry out the parts of the service we do not run ourselves. Stripe processes payments, and sees your billing details but never your records. Resend delivers our email, so it sees your address and the message we send. Vercel hosts the site, the app and the Postgres database your records are kept in. The advertising tools above join this list only while they are switched on and you have said yes to them.
How long it is kept
Records stay while your account is open. Some trades must keep records for a fixed period, and the app holds those records until that period ends even if you ask to delete them earlier, so the record your inspector may ask for still exists. To close your account, write to the address above: we delete your records once any period the rules set has ended, and you can export everything first.
Your choices
You can see, correct and export your records in the app at any time. To ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, a correction or a deletion, write to the address above and we will answer within 30 days.
