For lead-safe trainers and trade associations
A binder for every renovator you certify.
You teach the rule in a day. Your students then live with its paperwork for years, and we keep that paperwork beside them from the first job.
What a renovator gets on the first job
The pamphlet goes out before work starts and the delivery is on file. It can travel with the estimate: the owner opens it, signs the estimate on their phone, and the notice goes on file with the date and their signature. The work-practice checks, the warning signs, the containment and the cleaning verification are ticked on the phone with photos, and the full photo is kept with the time and place it was taken. The owner and occupant summary falls due 30 days after completion or at the final invoice, whichever comes first, and the job is kept for the three years 40 CFR 745.86 asks for. Every rule carries its citation and the day we last checked it.
Each renovator's record holds the course date and the provider who taught it, and it warns the firm sixty days before a certificate runs out, which is when they will be looking for your refresher.
How a firm finds us through you
We give you a link of your own to hand out in class or send to members. A firm that opens its account through that link is counted to you, and whenever you ask we will tell you how many have, and how many went on to a paid plan. You never see a firm's records, and they never see your list.
A firm can start on the free plan the day it leaves your class and try it on a real job, with sample records to look around first. Where a state or tribe runs its own program, the trade page names it, so a firm in Oregon or Wisconsin is not told the federal rule is the whole story.
Getting your link
Write to support@tradesbinder.com with the name of your course or association and the states you teach in. A person reads it, sends your link, and walks you through what your students will see. If you would rather look first, the lead-safe trade page shows every rule and its source, and a free workspace opens in a minute.
What we never claim
A recordkeeping aid. It does not certify compliance and is not legal advice. We keep the record; your course teaches the work, and the inspector decides whether it was done right.
